HAI  BALES

CLEVELAND BORN.

THE PASSION FOR LIGHT

PHOTOGRAPHY

[fuh-tog-ruh-fee]

The process or art of producing images of objects on sensitizedsurfaces by the chemical    action of light or of other forms of radiantenergy, as x-rays, gamma rays, or cosmic rays.

I'm that girl, the one that gets giddy over killer light. There's something sexy about the way it kisses the face and highlights the beauty of a person. I do a happy dance when I arrive on location and see gorgeous windows and light flooding in [and yes literally, its a 10 second happy dance]. I'm also a realist, and know that the lovely sun sets on every wedding, therefore I've learned to embrace the beauty of artificial light, and how to leverage its ability to frame a couple with pure magic.

OUR STYLE

EDITORIAL. MODERN. LIFESTYLE.

My job as a photographer extends far beyond the physical act of photographing your wedding. My job, the one your hire me to do, is actually to cultivate a narrative of your wedding day through my photographs. Below is a showcase of how these three words translate into photographs, creating a diverse gallery for my clients.

Nina + Charles had their first date at Maxi's in Little Italy, so it made for the perfect setting to start their engagment session.

TRUST + INVESTMENT

Let's not pretend investment isn't a factor...

I'm a firm believer in the phrase

"IS IT WORTH IT?"

So I've compiled 5 reasons I feel

Hai Bales Photography is WORTH your trust + investment.

No. 1. When you call, text or email, you get me, Amanda Karpus, owner, photographer + coffee hater. I'm also the one who shows up to photograph your wedding! Unless you booked Sam...in which she is a coffee lover.

No. 2. When you trust your wedding to Hai Bales Photography, you're trusting it to one of the TOP TEN WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS IN NE OHIO.

- Cleveland Hot List 2015

No. 3. I have the bar cam... Now, what happens at the bar, no longer stays at the bar!

No. 4. There's these fancy things called reviews, typically rated in Stars. Yep, we have all FIVE of them, everywhere. period.

No. 5. I'm not afraid to do whatever it takes to get a shot. In the past this has meant, laying in busy streets, puddles, dirty (and I mean dirty) floors. Standing on things... including edges of ledges, which you scratch your head at when your second shooter sends you those photographs...
